Genesis Global Consulting Group began our journey officially in APAC in 2017, pioneered by Mario Stubbs the Founder/CEO of the company who has a sound knowledge and vast experience of 16 years into the corporate world.
The vision and ideology stemmed from years of experience in growing independent businesses and brands while focusing on investor relations. Trial and error has been the best learning curve for the well experienced and seasoned team.
As we have gathered and worked with a wide variety of properties in various locations, this would serve as our core competency to adapt to tailored strategies for each market.

Over 16 years of Senior Management level experience and roles across many industries in the UK, the Middle East and majority of time spent specializing across the Asia Pacific region. Years of leadership roles across global multinationals such as M&S, Deccan, Hawthorn, HSBC, Best Western and Expedia. Working with a multitude of brands in Real Estate, Aviation, Investment, Technology, Travel and Hospitality. Qualified in Economics & Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, etc.

Zigor Munoz, CO-Founder, Non-Executive Director & Advisor
Zigor is a global management professional with 15+ years of experience driving business development operations across five continents. He’s lived and worked across five continents in Canada, Singapore, Spain and Brazil and worked extensively in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, holding a variety of senior leadership roles in Account Management, Project Management, Biz Dev and Sales. Of late, he’s also helped set up and run teams in Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
Pre Covid, he continued to travel extensively while keeping an address in Singapore where he strives to still find time to enjoy life with his wife, raise two kids and walk a Golden Retriever and Chocolate Labrador Retriever.
Sudesh Alwis, Director
18 years of experience in the hospitality industry. A combination of Accounting, Operations, Financial Control, and Administrative competencies gained from local and international brands such as Galle Face Hotel (SL), Best Western Hotels & Resorts (SL), Royal Sok San Beach Resort (Cambodia) and Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts (Maldives). An expert at recognizing, streamlining and strengthening financial operations to Sound knowledge on platforms and Property maximize performance. Sound knowledge on international accounting platforms and Property Management Systems.
Nirmalan Nagendra, Board advisor
With over 33 years of experience into the international hospitality industry he has been accumulating skills and knowledge by working for Le Meridien Hotels in Kuwait, Singapore, USA and other locations and companies. He serves as a consultant with the Hotel Advisory practice of KPMG Sri Lanka and now Nirmalan benefits our Genesis team by sharing all his expertise.

Jeevan is highly skilled at Revenue Strategy, Front Office Management, Reservations and PMS implementation with 10 years overall experience in hospitality, 4 years of in-depth knowledge in
Revenue Management (in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Yield Strategic Online Management, Pricing and Distribution are key strengths and focus areas.
Head of Business Development (India)
Masters Degree in Operational Management with 6 years experience with Expedia Group (India) as a Team Lead. Heading Content, Distribution and Analytics team (APAC). Key role in managing relationships with channel partners, technology provider and key hotel stakeholders and support teams.

Head of Sales and Marketing
A young, dynamic individual with a passion for the industry, his ability to combine extensive industry experience of 13 years and customer centric focus has given him the best qualities a travel industry professional can offer.
He started his career in tourism as a marketing assistant for Sri Lanka In Style in 2008, he undertook a number of management roles for companies focusing mainly on delivery of luxury travel, guest experience strategy and business development. In 2013 he was inspired to launch Enchanting Ceylon, a 5-star tour operator specialising in custom tours.
